This July, ConnectMed once again supported the wonderful self-esteem camp in Tijuana run by local psychologist Dr. Ana Espinoza Leal. With our support, 11 children between the ages of 6-11 were able to participate in week-long camps filled with activities that encourage self-expression and open dialogue about living with facial differences. The students particularly loved the many art projects led by local artist Marlen de Castor.
Dr. Espinoza says: “I am delighted to share unforgettable moments with these beautiful children, for the enthusiasm and desire with which they face an endless number of problems…from the physical to the emotional. Thanks to ConnectMed International for the support offered to this summer course “Discovering Me”.
