Valeria Restrepo

ConnectMed International Program & Fundraising Coordinator

Valeria is a fourth year pre-medical student at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) majoring in Physiology and Neuroscience. As an undergrad, she has volunteered as a triage member and Spanish translator in partnership with International Health Collective at the free clinics in Tijuana, Mexico, served as a college ambassador for first-year students at UCSD, is currently directing the only all-female dance team on campus called 4N01 (For No One), and is serving as the Philanthropy Chair for the nation’s premier pre-health fraternity Delta Epsilon Mu. Along with her campus involvement, Valeria is also a Registered Behavior Technician where she provides therapy for children on the autism spectrum. After she graduates from UCSD in 2021, she plans to further pursue her dream of becoming a physician by applying for her Masters in Community Medicine to prepare for medical school.
